1. Order placement
We require full payment prior to your artwork going to press.
Once an order has been placed and paid for, it cannot be cancelled.
2. Artwork
Artwork must be set up to the correct size.
Artwork for folded brochures should be supplied at the flat size, for instance, an A4 brochure folded to DL should be supplied as 2 x A4 pages, not as 6 x DL pages.
All artwork is to be supplied with a minimum 3mm external bleed and should include trim/crop marks.
Artwork should include 3mm internal bleed. All text and important information should be kept at least 3mm from the edge of the page.
Artwork should be supplied as a press ready .pdf file. Other file formats accepted are; .ai (Illustrator files must have all links embedded and fonts outlined), .eps (Any links must be embedded and fonts outlined) .indd (InDesign files must have all links embedded and fonts outlined) .jpeg (Must be print resolution – 300dpi).
Artwork should be supplied using CMYK colours. Artwork created using RGB or spot colours will automatically be converted to CMYK which may alter the colour somewhat. It is up to the supplier of the artwork to ensure that colours are set up correctly. Rabbit Print does not accept responsibility of colour variation where appropriate file creation has not occurred. Rich blacks should be set to C = 40%, M = 0%, Y = 0%, K = 100%.
Rabbit Print recommend text be no smaller than 6pt and stroke lines no thinner than 0.3pt. If your artwork has a border, it is recommended it be at least 5mm from the edge of the page.
Due to automated trimming a +/- 2mm variance can occur.
Two sided printing will always be backed up at the top of the page. Rabbit Print will not be held responsible for incorrect orientation.
Our design team do all they can in pre-flighting artwork and do our best to inform clients of any potential issues, however, Rabbit Print cannot be held responsible for any errors due to artwork not being correctly prepared for commercial printing.
If a print job is to have laminating / celloglaze on 1 side, it is the customers responsibility to ensure that the side to be laminated is the FIRST page in our supplied proof , 2 page artwork. Verbal or written notification is not sufficient.
For one side laminating, it is common for the card or paper to have a slight curl. If this is problematic, you should order items with laminate on both sides, where no curling should occur.
3. Cancellations
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure cancellations are made within 2 business days of placing their order. Cancellations made after this period will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made within the 2 business day period are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
4. Delivery
Please allow for a minimum of 10 business days for all prints.
Rabbit Print can only deliver to a business address and deliveries take place between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday. An authorised person must sign for the delivery during this time.
“Working days” refers to days Monday – Friday and not weekends or public holidays.
Rabbit Print cannot be held responsible for loss or incorrect deliveries made by transport companies.
Deliveries cannot be made to a PO Box.
Should you choose to sign for your delivery and do not order insurance from Rabbit Print, someone must be at the delivery address between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday to sign for goods. If there is no-one available to sign for the goods and they are subsequently lost or damaged, Rabbit Print will not be liable for the loss. If there is no-one available to sign for delivery, you will have to pick up the goods at your expense from the transport company’s depot and your insurance will become void. If the goods are delivered in a damaged condition or in damaged boxes, it is your responsibility to note this on the delivery docket with the courier immediately upon delivery, any goods signed as received in good order and condition will not be reprinted.
If you have selected and authorised for us to “leave my print outside” and goods are subsequently lost or damaged, Rabbit Print will not be liable for any loss or damages.
If a signature cannot be obtained by the transport company or you have supplied an incorrect address or the delivery driver cannot access your premises, and additional $88.00 charge will be incurred to re-deliver your printing. If you are not sure somebody will be available to sign for your goods, please do not choose this option.
Disputes in regards to the inability to obtain a signature are to be taken up with the transport company.
Delivery times are estimates only, we cannot guarantee delivery times.
Rabbit Print will not held responsible for any loss or damage suffered during transit of the goods.
Any inquiries regarding print errors or damaged goods must be made within five working days of receiving goods. Faulty goods must be returned to Rabbit Print for examination before a reprint will take place. If errors are due to incorrect artwork or improper artwork setup, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reprinting and assiciated costs. Rabbit Print will not issue a refund.
Whilst Rabbit Print offer free freight on most products to most locations within Australia, large orders or remote locations may incur delivery fees. Should your order incur delivery fees, Rabbit Print will inform you and confirm your order and supply an amended invoice.
4. Final product and variants
Due to various factors including coating, digital or process printing and stock type, variations can occur in final colour output. Rabbit Print will not be held responsible for such variations.
Cracks can occur with folded products due to the nature of paper. To avoid excessive cracking, Rabbit Print recommends avoiding heavy ink coverage over folded areas. Due to automated folding, a plus or minus 2 – 3mm variant can occur, allow for this when setting up artwork.
Due to the nature of commercial printing, variations in total quantities can occur. It is the customer’s responsibility to allow for possible fluctuations of up to 10% in total quantity. Any issues which arise from such variations will be handled on a case by case basis.
